• Shipping usually takes 7-10 business days to arrive. WE WILL SHIP EITHER USPS OR UPS, AT OUR DISCRETION.
• Shipping delays can occur which are beyond our control and can take up to 2-4 weeks. Please bid accordingly.
• Customs and/or VAT fees will be assessed for the value of the item by the importing country.

• If the watch would ever need service, you would send the watch to us and we will send it to the manufacturer's service center for warranty work.
• Warranty only covers manufacturer defects and will not cover any physical damage caused by the user.
• We also offer extended warranties for watches purchased from us. Paperwork for the extended warranty will arrive with your watch order.

This is a new watch worn once.  The watch is in perfect condition.  It is the Classico series with a beige dial with visible ruby. The watch has Arabic numbers with black spheres and index.  The case is steel, AISI 316 l, diameter 45 mm.  The movement is automatic ETA 2824.  The wrist band is black leather with beige stitching.

This is a 100% authentic U-Boat Classico Lefthook Auto 45mm. It has a black leather band with stainless steel quick release clasp and beige face with day date. The watch is in excellent shape. I bought it new about 1 1/2 years ago for $2400.
I still have all the original papers, manual and boxes.

Automatic-winding ETA calibre 2824 with date and sweep second functions.

Case:
Stainless steel 45 with hardened mineral crystal and screw locking crown protector cap. See-through back.

Bracelet:
Black calfskin leather with stainless steel insert and double folding stainless clasp.

Dial:
Beige with large Arabic numeral and hands in black. Date window at Three.

In 1942, the Italian Government commissioned Ilvo to design a watch to be used by the pilots of the Navy. Ilvo then concentrated on a watch that was big enough to be read instantly in any weather and light conditions. The design continued, but the order for the initial production did not come about, meaning that the design remained on paper alone for over 50 years.

Italo Fontana, born in Lucca, Italy, in 1965.

His interest in design and creativity developed at a young age. His ideas intertwined with fashion, furnishings, valuable objects; elements which were born out of the inspiration of his creative talent.

His interest in watches takes inspiration, and leads to fulfilment, from an experience of Italo's grandfather, Ilvo Fontana.

In 2000 Italo Fontana decided to develop the idea of the U-Boat watch, constantly tweaking it to become the brand we know today, with a nod to the past and one towards future trends.

This watch is from the 2005 Collection and comes with the original paperwork, Aluminum Box, and Two Leather Bands.  The watch measures 2 3/8 inches from the stem to the other side.  The Crystal alone is 1 3/4 inches diameter.  One Band has very little wear and the quick release band is brand new never worn still flat in the box.  The Crystal and Bezel have no scratches.  Date of Purchase is June 6, 2005 from Parisi in Taormina Italy.
