The watch is in great overall shape, with no distinguishing blemishes on the casing, and a virtually unnoticeable imperfection on the sapphire face at 11 o'clock where it meets the casing (I tried to take pictures, and you literally couldn't even see it in the pics...you would not notice it unless you KNEW it was there). The band is also in near perfect shape, but as with any leather band that has been worn one or more times, there is normal wear. However, there are absolutely no rips, tears, or gashes...it is as close to new as a leather band can be. So as a whole, I'd rate the watch an 8.5 or 9 out of 10. It's a 53mm faced watch so it's not for the faint of heart, and it is quite the conversation starter as both knowledgable watch enthusiasts and casual observers always take notice. It keeps PERFECT time and has always been on a watch winder when not worn.
